[PAA-Discuss] Congressional Immigration hearings, vigil in Houston 8/15-16

CONGRESSIONAL IMMIGRATION FIELD HEARINGS

During the joint meetings to reconcile the House and Senate 
Immigration bills, the members of the House decided to have field 
hearings during the congressional recess in August.  One of the 
hearings will take place in Houston Wednesday, August 16.  The 
committee on Homeland Security is sponsoring the hearing.  The panel 
of presenters has been pre-selected.  The following events will take 
place allowing for the full voice of the people to be heard.

Theses events are an effort to bring people together not divide them 
and are open to all and your attendance is encouraged.  A white 
ribbon in support of comprehensive immigration reform may be worn.
