Pro-choice action needed:

Starting yesterday (Aug. 15), Planned Parenthood of Houston will be 'under siege' by self-styled pro-life people.  They plan 24-hour vigils, and two rallies. See details on this hate group's web site at http://www.houstoncoalition.com/ - read about the '40 Days for Life' program.

Escorts for clients are being trained and arranged by some groups in town to help during this potentially confrontation period. At least one counter-rally (not at PP Houston, possibly 9/9 or 9/10) is being tentatively planned to show the truth of the fact that the mainstream majority supports the right of a woman to make decisions about her body.

PAA has been asked to help (see below).
