GLOBAL EXCHANGE
Dear Lee,
This September, Global Exchange is bringing leaders from climate change and
oil affected communities to speak at events across the U.S. Speakers from
the Arctic, Nigeria, Iraq, New Orleans and small island nations such as
Micronesia and Tuvalu will come to share their stories, inspire action and
bring hope for the future.

The Voices from the Frontlines speaking tour will raise national awareness
about global warming, environmental racism and the insidious influence of
oil companies on political decision-making. At a time when the heat is
rising, gas prices are skyrocketing and the oil and gas industry has
"invested" more than $10 million of their record profits in the 2006
congressional race, these voices will amplify the real story of how big oil
affects our global community.
If you're interested in having one of these inspirational speakers come to
your city email June <mailto:june at globalexchange.org> or for more
