these are the "democratic" senators who will be BLOCKING the filibuster by 
calling for a vote now on alito.  i don't understand how democrats ever hope to 
win the country back if they can't even stick together for an issue as clear 
and as critical as this.

if you want to join me in making a last ditch attempt at getting them to 
change their minds and support rather than prevent the filibuster, here's the best 
numbers and senators to call.  tell them they should consider changing party 
if they won't stand with the other democrats now, regardless of how they plan 
to vote on alito.  the filibuster needs to happen as a legal way of keeping 
the majority from overruling the minority.  voting now would be more likely to 
result in alito's appointment.  if you talk to a senator's office who says he's 
voting for cloture  (to cut off a filibuster) but voting against alito, tell 
them that's pointless and to ask the senator to just not show up for the 
cloture vote instead of voting for cloture.
