Please also take note of a snippet from John Behrman I find pertinent
as it relates to the transparency of the bargaining process. The
Steering Committee voted to make a recomendation to the PPC
membership that they endorse Ritchie. That recomendation will be
discussed and may or may not be accepted by the membership.
It is not a done deal by any stretch and as delegates to the
convention, you have a one vote and one voice, making you equal to
everyone in attendance regardless of their position within the party.
Begin forwarded message:
> From: "John Robert BEHRMAN"
> The pre-convention is a bargaining process and the convention is a
> deliberative process. We have made the bargaining transparent. Do
> you know any other organization that has done so?
>
> So, you and every member has a chance to march into caucus with
> your ducks and arguments in a row.
