[PAA-Discuss] Fwd: Mary Kay MERRIMAN -- Died Suddenly Today

All,

I spoke with Stan this morning, and he sounded tired but said he is doing OK and that they are getting through this.  He said that Mary Kay had a lot of friends and that the family is busy contacting all of them.  Mary Kay didn't have any known heart disease problems so this was very sudden.

I asked if he or the family needed anything and he said thanks, but no, that with all of Mary Kay's friends and the family they have what they need.  I asked him to call me if we can do anything.

I asked if they would prefer flowers or perhaps contributions to a favorite charity of Mary Kay's.  Stan said no to flowers, but they haven't decided yet on what charity to ask people to support if they want to send something.  Stan said to watch for the obituary announcement (no more details on arrangements yet) sometime in the next few days, and they'll try to put something in there about donations to a charity.

He said he wished us well at the convention, and thanked me for calling.

Our thoughts are with Stan and his family at this time of loss.
