I am forwarding information about another event this Friday and
Saturday, May 5-6, at the Last Organic Outpost. The extraordinary
young woman, Monica Villarreal, who organized the fabulous
entertainment at the Houston Social Forum, is also responsible for the
festivities at the Outpost. The Outpost is a sacred sanctuary in
itself, but it only becomes more spirited by the activities Monica
coordinates. Enjoy!

The Last Organic Outpost hosts Friday Evening Community Gatherings
with an Organic Salad Feast from the Garden, Open Drumming Circle with
Baba Alaafia of the Group D.R.U.M. & the Kongo Square Drum Circle,
Heart Songs & Open EarthDancing with SunShine & dancers of Ecstatic
Dance Houston.
Let's Gather in the Garden at 7:30pm,

to Eat & Sing & Drum & Dance & Share...

"we were at the Last Organic Outpost Friday night and it was
BEAUTIFUL: I couldn't believe such a wonderful place exists in
Downtown Houston! YAY & WOWWIE ZOWWIE~ Tiki torches lined the pathways
of this beautiful Garden of Eden. Organic veggies so happily growing
all around ~ Edible flowers WOW Eat ONE~ its peppery~  a sacred circle
of trees held us safely at home ~ plants singing sweet songs of
vibrant life force~ we could feel the fairies and nature spirits
tickling our skin as we drifted thru this magnificent wunderland...
This place is calling us home...."

Directions

We are located 5 minutes east of downtown Houston, TX, off I-10 East Freeway.

The easiest route is to take I-10 east from downtown, exit Waco; turn
right (South) on Waco, and go about 5 or 6 blocks to Clinton. Turn
left on Clinton, go one block and turn right on Ida. park in between
the two brick buildings. Walk down Ida past the yellow school bus, the
garden is straight ahead.
Schedule for Friday Evenings:
7:30pm  Eat Organic Salad from the Garden with  Joe Icet of The Last
Organic Outpost.

8:00- 11:00pm Open Live Drum Circle with Baba Alaafia of the Group
D.R.U.M. & the Kongo Square Drum Circle,  Heart Songs & Open
EarthDancing with SunShine & dancers of Ecstatic Dance Houston.
