I don't know if it's addressed in the code or not, but maybe....

I had to find the section below because last election my Rethug election
judge allowed a woman to watch a man vote and said "Show me where it says
you can't" and of course I did not have the massive code book with me.  What
an ass.  He also lied about attending training.

? 64.002.  OCCUPANCY OF VOTING STATION.  (a)  Except as
otherwise provided by this code, only one person at a time may
occupy a voting station.
(b)  A child under 18 years of age may accompany the child's
parent to a voting station.
