[PAA-Discuss] A Peace Article That Quotes Douglas MacArthur

I advocate that the environmental community become a peace community as well.  Environmentalists have left war and defense out of their agenda.  This is the most wasteful destructive activity that humankind does.  It is time to eliminate war.

 

My article is different in that I cite two distinguished warriors who called for the abolition of war and I make specific proposals.

 

There have been lots of abolition of war statements, most notably the Kellogg Briand Pact of 1928.  Few, if any, have included specific proposals that would make that happen.
