[PAA-Discuss] Al Green's district ?

Juli, Ivan Espinosa will go to Al's presentation (and bring cookies) but is
in Sheila's district. Will also go to her event.

Suzette, is any of the codepinkers you signed up in his district? Anyone in
paa interested in being part of the presentation of the Defender of Habeas
Corpus, We, the People, Thank You to area reps who voted Nay on the Military
Commissions Act? (Gene Green, Al Green, Ron Paul, Sheila Jackson-Lee). The
Human Rights even Dec. 8 - 10 is the perfect place to maybe get all three of
the houston Defender together. Should I pursue this? Wish it were free so
more folks could attend. 

 

The Alliance for Democracy in MA has agreed to present all 11 to the MA
Defenders. There is a Human Rights event on Dec. 10 and a member of their
national office (which is located in MA) will see that they are displayed at
the event and maybe some will be presented. Bravo. Sent them off today.
Juli, got your check. Thank you for the contribution. Still have not heard
about the Liberty Bell lapel pins. Drat! I have finished the HPN so will be
able to work on this more now. Also am trying to get over another cold!

 Is there anyone else out there who is in Al Green's district ?  I think I
saw one other name.    I am in his district & have his local contact info &
was hoping to arrange a Habeas Corpus outreach event.  Due to my hours at
work, I may not be able to go in person, but I can contact Rep. Green re:
the issue & perhaps set up a meeting with him to discuss the issue.  If you
are interested in going, please let me know.
