[PAA-Discuss] IN RESPONSE to bush flash article

They may attack Iran before the election in, among other things, an effort
to invoke the "patriotism" vote, but I will bet $1,000 they will not cancel
elections and declare martial law. Any takers?

That said, we should by all means shout as loudly as possible, do what we
can to make people aware that an attack on Iran appears imminent, and
mobilize them against it.

I suspect they can't do it if the scenario plays out with the
Enterprise.once another war (Iran) is in place, he suspends the vote, the
election gets stymied, he keeps the power. They will do everything they can,
including killing their own, to hold on to the power they've worked long and
hard to accumulate. Time to hit the streets if you ask me!

Or not,

Call me crazy and pass the tin foil! I'd say I need it by..oh.around oct
29th.

Protests Begin

True, they didn't help to prevent the Iraq war, but the stakes are even
higher now, since we're talking about a nuclear winter. And by the time our
president reconvenes Congress, it'll already have started because nothing is
easier for our military than instigating a war - "We launched our missiles
at 1000 sites in Iran after their radar locked on our airplanes and ships,
so they started it and not us" yeah, sure), and who's going to challenge
that statement, especially when our soldiers and sailors already are in
combat? Remember, they got away with this story before, most notably in our
attack on Libya two decades ago.

What good our protests? Maybe little to none but at least we will have
tried. It's possible too, that if there are enough of us (millions of people
in America as well as throughout the world), a few cowardly lion Democrats
will find their hearts and join us in demanding that our president call off
his Iran war. What's even more crucial, we've got to win the November
election, and big! Can we do it? We have to, since the alternative is to
stay the course towards the dead-end straight ahead.
