For our big Impeachment Town Hall meeting Monday afternoon at the
Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church, with keynote speaker Ann
Wright, we could use some help. See our web site
http://progressiveactionalliance.org/ and click on the event title if
you've missed this somehow.

We're hoping for a crowd of at least 300 people, maybe more, even
though it's a holiday (Labor Day).

We've already have a number of volunteers, but we need more for this
event. If you can help with any of this and ARRIVE EARLY (by 12 noon
Monday), please let Kris Graham know what you can help with and HOW
MUCH of whatever you'd like to bring if you are bringing drinks,
snacks, cups, etc.
Contact Kris at 713-460-0676 (home), 281-796-8577 (cell), or
graham2639 at mindspring.com

Let Kris know if you can help with:
* Lots of drinks (tea, bottled water, soft drinks, etc.)
    - preferably no Coca-Cola products -see http://killercoke.org if
you don't know why
* Ice chests with ice
* Paper cups, plates (preferably not styrofoam), napkins
* Non-messy snacks that don't require forks, knives, etc.
   - Crackers, cookies, chips, muffins, raw veggies, salsa, dips, etc. are good.
* Putting up signs, moving tables before the event starts
* Cleaning up & putting everything away after the event
* Helping with the sign-in table, collecting donations, handing out agendas
* Staffing the PAA tables (distribute impeach t-shirts, bumper
stickers, literature, answer questions, etc.)
* Voter registration table (bring your voter reg. cards/booklet)
* Freeway blogging table (bring photos & flyers, get contact info)
* Bringing your friends to the event -- refer them to our web site for details

If you are bringing anything or helping with the above, please try to
arrive at the church by 12 Noon Monday, and let Kris know how you can
help. Some of us will be there at 11 AM to start setting up.

If you are also with another peace and justice organization, I hope
you will have a table there to tell attendees what you do. We want
to get people involved in whatever they get excited about.

Candidates and volunteers for candidates are also welcome, although
in keeping with the official "non-partisan" nature of the event, we
won't be promoting any of them from the podium, and candidates from
ANY political party may come and distribute literature, ask for
volunteers, etc.

Remember, tell your friends to come! Refer them to
http://progressiveactionalliance.org for details.

Thanks, everyone,
Bill
