Is it the venue that is Pro-War? Very odd that the organizers would set up a peace event at a Republican church.
I guess "peace" has many definitions as does "democracy".

If a venue is a religious center also, it may be appropriate for organizers to make sure the leadership and congregation of the center is either neutral or pro-peace. Pro-peace as in not cluster bombing on behalf of Jesus and/or democracy.
