THE BUSH AGENDA: Invading the World One Economy at a Time
Talk and book-signing by author
Antonia Juhasz
Wednesday, September 27 at 7 PM
Anderson Hall 103
Juhasz's book exposes the Bush Administration's use of corporate
globalization policy as a weapon of war in Iraq, the Middle East, and
across the world as it builds a Pax Americana. It reveals the history
and key role of U.S. corporations in the creation of the Bush Agenda,
focusing on Bechtel, Lockheed Martin, Chevron, and Halliburton. It
concludes with specific achievable alternatives for a more peaceful
and sustainable course.
Juhasz is a policy-analyst with expertise in international trade and
finance policy who has published in major newspapers and journals here
and abroad. Until recently, she was the Project Director of the
International Forum on Globalization, an alliance of international
scholars, economists, researchers, writers and activists that Naomi
Klein called "The brain trust of the [anti-corporate globalization]
movement."
