[PAA-Discuss] Noticing flags

I think they’re flying at ½ staff in honor of the Virginia Tech students and
professors who were killed last week.

I’ve been out and about, and noticed something odd about the way some flags
are being flown in public places.

 

Neiman Marcus at the Galleria – the USA and Texas flags are flying at only ¾
- mast.

 

Downtown at Leeland and Louisianna – the USA and Texas flags, along with a
3rd flag I don’t recognize – are all flying at only ½ - mast.

 

In general, this means some kind of loss, mourning, or surrender.
