No, this was not a repeat. They got so much response on the first program
they decided to do a follow-up. Hopefully they will post it on their website
soon. The idea was to have a rational discussion about whether or not
impeachment should be seriously considered. IMO that is a tremendous step forward
since the "I" word has been basically unmentionable in the MSM, and programs like
this help make it respectable for the others to talk about. Of course we all
would have liked for them to come out clearly for impeachment and the
Kucinich resolution or at least mention it, but at least this is a step in that
direction - an attempt to make it possible to do that in the future. Moyers has
to be as progressive as possible without being partisan - which of course he
clearly is, even if he can't say so just yet. I hope you will agree this was
a very valuable program, and if you send your comments to Moyers, it just
might actually have an impact. Worth a try.

I did not get a chance to watch this show last night. Was this a repeat of
the one on Impeachment done a couple of months ago? I went to the link below
and could not find a new information. The first one was absolutely
incredible and demonstrates a way through this quagmire. And Kris is right that it
is almost like Dennis Kucinich doesn’t exist or at least not on the radar
screen for the dems, only a few old hippies here are trying to push Kuncinich’s
agenda when the dems wish he would just go away or serve his place by sucking
all the energy out anti-war forces.

I watched the show, Charlie, and here’s what I don’t get. NOBODY brought up
the fact that Dennis Kucinich has already introduced articles of impeachment
against Dick Cheney in the House and has several cosigners on that
resolution. Moyers, Fein and the other guy from the Nation never brought that up. I
wonder if they do not know that. It would seem to me that they should be
informed about this before they go on a show talking about impeaching Bush and
Cheney. They acted like no one in Congress had the spine to introduce the
articles, but Dennis did this a long time ago. I don’t get it.

Hope everyone saw the Bill Moyers program on impeachment last night. It was
excellent - exactly what we need to help get impeachment back on the table.
If you saw it, PLEASE BE SURE to send some feedback thanking them for this
program and encouraging them to keep it up. If you did not see it, it will
probably be on his website soon at the link below. And even if you didn't see it
and don't have time to watch it when it gets posted to the website, please
take my word for it that it was VERY VALUABLE, go to this link, and tell them
how great it was anyway! Thanks.
