[PAA-Discuss] Green Party of Texas Ballot Access Kickoff this Sunday

This Sunday, December 16, at Dan Electro's Guitar Bar, 1031 E. 24th, Houston, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Harris County Green Party will sponsor the kickoff in Harris County of the Green Party of Texas' 2008 Ballot Access Drive.  Free Admission.  Food and drink may be purchased at the event.

There will be music by Back Beat Fetish and by The Coalition Band,  there will be spoken word performances, and there will be a drawing for a weekend at a beach house on the Bolivar Peninsula.  Attendees will have the opportunity to register to vote, if they are not already, or update their voter registration.  

This event is not primarily a fundraiser, but participants will have the opportunity to donate to the Green Party of Texas Ballot Access Drive and to Cynthia McKinney's campaign for the Green Party nomination for President.

This is an adult event since Dan serves alcohol.
