[PAA-Discuss] Oppose Renewal of Eavesdropping Bill

The Protect America Act was signed into law on August 5. The bill, which allows federal eavesdropping on certain U.S. citizens, was quickly passed through Congress with practically no congressional debate. A 6-month sunset provision was attached to the final version of the act. If not renewed by Congress, the Protect America Act is set to expire on February 1, 2008.

Contact members of Congress today and urge them to support the U.S. Constitution by voting against making the Protect America Act a permanent law.
