[PAA-Discuss] Hou. Chron and winter soldier reporting

Guess I am not the bowing down kind. I hope some of the other papers which
have ignored this momentus event are working on the same type of response. I
understand that $$ is a problem, too. Many newspapers are laying off
employees. I think several hundred from the NYT. Anyway, if we thank them
and add our comments backing up the soldier perhaps they will be more
willing to work on this type of reporting. Lee

Kudos to the Houston Chronicle? Let's throw a party for them, maybe we can
bow down as they enter. I'm still waiting for Kucinich's wife's article.

spent and still kicking,

I spoke with Barbara Karkabi (Chron reporter) about the Chronicle's not
reporting a word on the winter Soldier Hearings. Well, we are mistaken:
Claudia Feldman was sent to the Hearings and will do a spread on it. Yea!

By the way, the HPN for April is now at the printer's and will be out this
week. Nick has done most if not the entire issue on the Hearings. We'll see
if HPN scoops the Chronicle! Lee Loe
