This Friday, November the 28th, local activists will host a report
from last weeks Annual Vigil at the School of the America's.
The event will be at The Houston Institute for Culture, Gallery and
Bookstore, located at 708 Telephone, 77023, on Houston's East End. (
Next door to Bohemio's). Frankie Flores, a torture survivor from El
Salvador, and Tiel Rainelli, a prisoner of Conscience, will share
their experiences from this years vigil.
There will also be a report on the status of the excommunication of
Father Roy Bourgeois, from the Catholic Church. Father Roy has been a
Maryknoll priest for 36 years and is the founder of the SOA Watch.
This event is free and open to all.
(Note from Bill: The venue is where PAA will have its potluck
dinner/meeting next Sunday, Nov. 30, to continue our planning for the
future. I hope you can go to both the SOA vigil report and the PAA
meeting.)
