Dear Social Justice Advocate

Please join us at the CUNY Social Forum, a unique event being held at
City Collage in Manhattan from Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19,
2008.

We plan to have an information table to give literature and educate
people about our campaign, both on Saturday and Sunday.

We are proud that one of our members, Vanessa James was chosen to be one
of the five Panelists at the Plenary on Saturday night at 6:00pm. The
Plenary theme is "CUNY and the Global Social Justice Movement", and
Vanessa will link her personal struggle and the struggle of thousands of
mothers in New York City victims of a cruel, perverse and inhuman Child
Welfare System to the Global Social Justice movement and the defense of
our Human Rights.

On Sunday, October 19th, 2008, we will present our Workshop The
Cradle-to-Prison Pipeline from 12:00 noon till 1:20pm at the Lecture
Hall, Room 0/201. This is a large beautiful theater with capacity for
400 people. Help us fill it up.

In case you have some extra time, we do need volunteers for the tabling,
to give out flyers and for the workshop.

We are planning also to bring our issue to the Participatory Assembly=0
D
which is the closing event on Sunday the 19th, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

We are looking forward to create a Human Rights Movement around the
issue of the Child Slave Trade operating as Foster Care under the color
of law.

The Cradle-to-Prison Pipeline

Compulsory Public Schooling, Forced Special Ed, Drugging of Children,
Foster Care, Juvenile Justice, Prison, Homeless and Mentally Ill
Industries teaming together to criminalize the largest possible number
of children in New York City, particularly children of color. Let's
explore together the depths of the Social Engineered disempowering of
certain populations to the benefit of others. The sorting and tracking
of children beginning with a Public Schooling system designed to dumb
down the masses=2
0rather than educate them. The forced use of Special Ed
classes to destroy the brightest and bravest of the population of color,
while getting 3.5 times more funding for every child. The use of
so-called Child Protective Services as a weapon to force compliance by
parents. The "legal" kidnapping of children of poor parents, under any
imaginable excuse. The use of Family Court to give an aura of legality
to the racketeering white collar enterprise of the Child Slave Trade.
The systematic making of disabled children who enter Foster Care in
order to get 3.5 times more funding. The forced drugging of Special Ed
and Foster Care children in order to keep them compliant. The use of
Foster Children as Guinea Pigs for Experiments with lethal drugs. The
creation of Orphans out of children whose only crime is to have parents
who are poor. The fact that more children die while in foster care than
in the hands of abusive parents.

WE NEED TO CREATE A HUMAN RIGHTS MOVEMENT AROUND THIS ISSUE
