We're thrilled to announce the launch of _DoPeace_

online  community of, by and for volunteers with The Peace Alliance,  Student 
Peace Alliance and the Campaign for a U.S. Department of  Peace. At DoPeace, 
we come together to celebrate, support and  foster effective and FUN 
citizen-based peace  activism.

Online networking is a powerful and proven tool  for effective grassroots 
organizing. By participating in the  community, we can reach beyond 
geographic boundaries and time  zones to connect with new people, share great ideas, 
increase our  impact and grow the campaign.

Here are the simple steps you  can take to join the community and use this 
powerful new tool:

    2.  Watch the _DoPeace  Overview Video_

    3.  Click on the _Groups  link_

state name  
    *   Join your State group  
    *   Join your chapter group. If it doesn't exist yet, you (yes  YOU!) 
can create it. Be sure to name it with the State Name  first, followed by the 
District Number (e.g., "Maryland 08"  for Maryland's district 8). 
    4.  Get active in the community. You can:
