Remiinder --
Come to the May monthly meeting of the Progressive Action Alliance, this evening, 7-9 PM.

This month, agenda items include:
* Pushing for universal single payer health care
* Houston City Council elections - 3 of our Green party folks are running
* Sunday's HPJC Peace Potluck Picnic http://hpjc.org - 5:30PM
* Sunday's George Galloway talk on the oppression of Gaza http://www.paa-tx.org/node/3205?size=_original - 7PM
* Helping KPFT with its spring fund drive (Monday plus possibly Friday next week)
* Gene Green's reluctance to help with climate change legislation and possible candidates to run against him
* reviewing our May 1 Palestine movie showing and planning for our next social event

Come early (about 6:45PM) to visit; meeting is from 7-9 p.m. Bring something non-messy to eat or drink and share if you wish.

We meet at:
    Havens Center
    1827 W. Alabama St.
    Houston
    between Woodhead & Shepherd on south side, next to Chocolate Bar
NOTE: Do not park across the street in the gravel lot on the north side of Alabama. Use the St. Stephen's Church parking lot, just east of the Havens Center. We suggest you park in well-lit areas of the parking lot (or near the street), and not leave visible items of value in your car.
