Dear Kris,

I have gone through cycles in which I felt that it was up to me to change the world, interspersed with cycles in which I believed the ancient wisdom that teaches that one accomplishes more through working with energy and universal law than working within the physical world, working with human law. The universal law of attraction says that you attract to yourself that on which you focus. That you get more of whatever you fight. That in order to change something, you have to focus on the solution. 

As you can see from my last spate of very negative posts, I have given in and up, maybe temporarily and I apologize for that. I so feel for you. Cassandra's pain is the harshest. 

As below, so above; as inside, so outside. We cannot change the outside, so we have to work on the inside. Everything we feel and think, especially feel, goes into the collective consciousness -- the 8th chakra, which connects us to all consciousness. Like rain, what we put in there comes back to us. Love begets love, Hate and anger beget violence and war. There have been times when I lived in that space, it's not just something I read about. We just need to becalm ourselves and reconnect with all that is. I might do so, again, before I die.  

Kris, you are a most precious being. Criers in the wilderness usually do not see the fruit of their labors, but they do have effect. Con carino,

We are so totally screwed, Annie. I am just sitting here this morning in a state of shock at the degree of willful ignorance of members of the so called progressive and peace community. They have this uncanny ability to put blinders on when something they see doesn’t suit them or is too uncomfortable for them to look at with eyes wide open. This deliberate failure to see constitutes complicity with crimes against humanity. I feel like a lone voice screaming in the wilderness, and I feel my voice is simply caught on the wind and blown away.
 
Honest to God, I just don’t know how we are going to ever evolve beyond what pathetic creatures we are. There doesn’t seem to be a collective will to face up to the truth and then go about making things right again, and that makes me extraordinarily sad and angry.
