[PAA-Discuss] Al Jazeera English news coming to KPFT

It's here!  Al Jazeera English will be broadcast 
on KPFT weekdays, starting tomorrow morning.  See 
the official announcement below, and please help 
spread the word.

It will be on at 5 AM, at least for now.  If you 
like it, I encourage you to let KPFT's General 
Manager <dbradley at kpft.org> and Program Director 
<pd at kpft.org> know.

I believe the 5 AM time slot is temporary until 
KPFT management can gauge support and interest 
for the program.

If you aren't up at 5 AM, you can listen to it 
via your computer whenever is convenient, just as 
you can other KPFT programs, by going to the KPFT 
audio archive at http://archive.kpft.org  The 
shows are all listed chronologically, with the 
most recent ones at the top.

I'm very excited that KPFT will broaden its 
programming to include this 
internationally-recognized news source, and am 
really looking forward to listening to it.
