I'm 
writing this note right after the Sara Palin speech at Tea Party Convention in 
Nashville, Tennessee. I hope my friends on this list avoid wasting their time by 
posting cheap satiric comments about her or even worse, try to defend "the other 
side" that is defending the Democrats and President Obama in discrediting Sara 
Palin. 
  
The 
show tonight has opened a serious and critical epoch in the U.S. political 
life. 
  
Tonight, 
Sara Palin outlined the right wing outlook in the U.S. Her main message was very 
clear: Militarism. This is a true outlook for a declining power that still 
is dominant but faces growing economic and strategic challenges. Sara Palin just 
expressed the outlook of the both parties.  
 Democrats and 
Republicans, one way or another do share Sara Palin’s main message. They 
are preparing us for more wars and military interventions. 
  
We 
- the peace activists - need to rely on own forces. We need to have our own 
Peace conventions. The worst thing is to take a side between the two tendencies 
that both are pro-wars. 
  
It 
is time to be alert. Do not waste your energy to prove that Sara Palin is wrong, 
use that energy to mobilize and organize the peace movement. A movement that 
allows us to seek the best solutions to our problems.
