Well, it appears that I will not make it to DC in time to participate in the
U.S. Prisons seminar due to SNOW in Atlanta!!!!!  I was born and raised in
Georgia and this is the most snow I have seen except for that freak blizzard
a generation ago!!  I've posted video of the snow on
http://dignity.ning.comwhich proves that I'm just as bad as all those
tv announcers who run with
their cameras to north Georgia when one snowflake is spotted.  Those of you
who are shoveling feet of snow right now, please forgive my enthusiasm for
this one-day dusting.  It is soooo beautiful.  Makes you wonder why we
tolerate the adulteration of our planet.  The temperature is supposed to
climb sufficiently to melt it all away later today.

So, I will not participate in the seminar; that's too bad because Ralph
Schoenman just introduced me to material pointing to Mossad and the FBI as
likely culprits in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing for which a Muslim
cleric is now imprisoned and I wanted to broach this at the Seminar because
attorney Lynne Stewart now sits in prison for representing that cleric.  How
many government lies and government-inspired travesties must be uncovered
before the American people act to save the soul of this country?

I will participate by video in the Mumia Abu-Jamal teach-in scheduled for
today from noon until 5:00 pm.  I hope to go on around 2:00 pm.  Here's the
info on the teach-in:

Activists from Philadelphia, across the U.S. and around the globe will take
part in an important video streaming, video conferencing and live teach-in
on February 13 to take up the next stage in the struggle to free Mumia
Abu-Jamal.

Updates will be provided on the latest legal developments including the Jan.
19 U.S. Supreme Court decision that opens the way for the reinstatement of
the death sentence.

Information will be provided for those unfamiliar with this important case
of the U.S.'s most prominent political prisoner and action proposals will be
discussed including a global petition campaign calling on U.S. Attorney Eric
Holder to open an investigation into civil rights violations in this case.

Other proposals will discuss activities to reach out to and educate students
and youth; and for events from April to July including teach-ins and
protests.

Participants will include Cynthia McKinney, the Honorable Minister Louis
Farrakhan, Linn Washington, Ramona Africa, numerous international
representatives, and many more.
