Another  reminder about the meeting.  If you have contacted me already, 
then no need  to RSVP.  If you still want to attend and have not RSVP’d, see 
below to  make sure that your free lunch will be available. 
Greetings!  This is a reminder that the Texas  State Meeting for Amnesty 
International USA is being held on Saturday,  February 27th in Denton.  We ask 
that you RSVP as soon as possible if  you plan to attend so that food 
accommodations can be made and to please forward  this far and wide to anyone you 
think be interested.  The conference is  open to all--current Amnesty 
members and non-members, all ages, and registration  is free!

    *   Katharine  Brunson, on migrant  detention & migrant's rights 
Human Rights  Initiative

Workshops  include:  
    *   Amnesty International'AmnestNEW Demand Dignity Campaign  
    *   Torture and Rendition,  presented by the ACLU  
    *   Developing Your Skills as an  Activist
