    Houston Animal Activists,
     
    The fur-free outreach event at the Nordstrom Rack Grand Opening is coming together, and as the NW Director of In Defense of Animals, I am again inviting you to please join other animal friends next Thursday to speak up for all fur-bearing animals. A half a dozen activists are already committed to attending this outreach event at Nordstrom's newest location! Signs and leaflets will be provided, all you have to do is show up!
     
    What: Fur-free Education Outreach
    Where:  Nordstrom Rack, at Centre at Post Oak, 5000 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77056
    When: This upcoming Thursday, February 25th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
    Meet: At the corner of Westheimer Road and Post Oak.

    IDA is determined to help Nordstrom become the first major U.S. upscale department store to completely shun fur, and we need your help. Our new and effective outreach card invites compassionate Nordstrom customers to speak up and ask Nordstrom's president, Blake Nordstrom, to make the right decision for his company to go fur-free. These friendly, low-key outreach events empower loyal customers to make their voices heard, and we are having great success, with activists handing out hundreds of cards at multiple Nordstrom stores across the country each week.
