The part of the St.Francis Peace Prayer not mentioned here is

Lord, grant that I may seek
rather to comfort, than to be comforted.
To understand, than to be
understood.
To love, than to be
loved.
For it is by
self-forgetting that one finds.
It is by forgiving that one
is forgiven.
It is by dying that one
awakens to Eternal Life.

DAY 23
Feb. 21: The practice for today is
PRAYER.  "Prayer from the heart can achieve what
nothing else in the world can" said Gandhi.

Begin and end the day with a prayer
for peace.   Peace begins with me.

Saint Francis of Assisi said it this
way:
"..... make me an instrument of
thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury,
pardon;
Where there is discord, union;
Where there is doubt,
faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness,
light;
Where there is sadness, joy."

Today:  I
will begin and end the day with a prayer for peace.  When I say goodbye to people, I will say
"May Peace Prevail on Earth."  I
will create a space in my home dedicated to prayer for
nonviolence.
