Summer Event

Vegan Brunch Potluck 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Dear Ivan,
Save the date for our 3rd Annual "Celebrate Freedom, Live Vegan" Summer Event! Join us on Saturday, July 3, 2010 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. This year, in order to stay cool in the Houston heat, we'll be hosting an indoor Vegan Potluck Brunch at The Havens Center.
Our annual "Celebrate Freedom, Live Vegan" event will have a variety of delicious vegan and raw vegan potluck items. Vegan pancakes and waffles will be served up fresh in The Havens Center kitchen. We're also featuring samples from one of Houston's newest vegan establishments, The Vegan Cafe, which now offers breakfast twice a month! Joining us at the event will be The Vegan Cafe's Chef CC Muhammad.
In addition to a delicious brunch potluck, there will be indoor games, ping pong tables, music, vegan product coupons, literature on animal rights and earth-friendly living, free Veg Starter Guides and more! We'll also have some great raffle baskets to help raise much needed funds for our organization.
RSVP's are requested for seating. All ages welcome! To RSVP and view a map, visit our event registration page. Remember to bring a vegan entree, side dish or salad to share with attendees. (You don't have to be vegan to attend, but we do require that all ingredients are vegan -- free of meat, poultry, seafood, eggs, and dairy.) Please help us keep our potlucks eco-friendly by bringing your own reusable plates, utensils and cups.
Our Society of PEACE "Celebrate Freedom, Live Vegan" event started in 2008 with the belief that "living vegan promotes freedom for all sentient beings". It's held annually in Houston around Independence Day and we think it's a great way to celebrate and educate at the same time. Hope to see you at this year's event and bring your friends!
Sincerely,
Your Society of P.E.A.C.E. Events Team
