Probably the largest gathering of activists in this decade,
ommmunity-builders from all over the globe, are gearing up to fly, bus, bike and walk to
Detroit for this historic event, where the process is just as important as
being present.
It's an exciting time to be a part of a movement for democracy, diversity,
and justice. >1,000 self-organized workshops! 500 cultural events &
performances, People's Movement Assemblies, inter-city work projects, live web
streaming, a media center, Children's Social Forum & youth spaces, Plenaries,
direct actions, international guests, open spaces, tours, >10,000 now
registered!
Help build a multi-racial, inter-generational,
diverse, inclusive, united,
MOVEMENT to transform and change history. Houston community groups are
urged to send reps &/or help subsidize the Houston BUS. Who from
HoustonCodePink is wanting to go?

1) Flights are costly. Do you know how to donate frequent flyer miles to
Houston activists trying to get fights?
2) Can you donate $$ to help subsidize a CodePink representative or
another group rep?
3) Do you want to go on the Houston>Detroit BUS? Contact
_John_R at riseup.net_ () about Bus plans.
4) Can you donate to Houston Peace & Justice Center (HPJC) to help
subsidize a Houston bus to enable college students to attend the USSF?
Whether or not you're a member of HPJC, you can mail donation & receive
tax deductible contribution verification. Mail to HPJC, PO Box 66234,
Houston TX 77266, or via online PayPal account. Please earmark your donation:
USSF Bus.

5) Besides commercial lodging options, USSF organizers in conjuction with
Allied Media Projects are facilitating private HOUSING options. Sign up on
message board. Please ask family & friends IN DETROIT who might be
interested in making their home available?
See _http://talk.alliedmediaconference.org/message-boards._
(http://talk.alliedmediaconference.org/message-boards.) and follow the instructions to
create a post. The message board can also be found along w/ housing options
at the _USSF website Logistics section_ (http://ussf2010.org/logistics) .
Be sure to include:
* Where your house is located in relation to Wayne State University (WSU)
and Cobo Hall, the main conferencing site.
* Approximately how many people? ___* Whether or not you have pets?
* Dates available and what, if any conditions or if any price range
expected for housing?
* How you would like to be contacted?
Please forward this message to others who might be able to provide
