Subject: **SPAM** Questions on Socialism and Anarchism

1.) Does anyone have specific reasons for supporting or not supporting
socialism? Anarchism?

Socialism is a transitional period from Capitalism to communism. It is a
complicated concept and process. Hard working people would support the idea
if it is presented to them correctly.

Anarchism on the other hand is the opposite of Socialism, it believes in
"absolute individual liberty". Which is a contradictory proposition to any
civil society or community.

2.) Does anyone self identify as socialist or anarchist or even communist?
Why do you identify as you do?

The labels are not really effectual elements in the struggle, unless they
become symbol of victory and galvanizing factor.

3.) Does anyone think that a transitional socialist system could eventually
lead to an anarchist system such as those I mentioned in the above
paragraph?

No.

4.) Does anyone believe the eventual abolition of the state is possible?

Yes. But that should not be a concern right now. In any case rather than
being abolished, the role of the state becomes less important and gradually
"withers away".

5.) Does anyone believe systemic change can take place in the United States
and abroad without violent overthrow of the capitalist class?

No. Because the Capitalist Class and their government would not accept a
peaceful resolution, therefore they always turn violent. The experience of
all major revolutions indicates that people at the beginning through
peaceful demonstrations demand for their rights and change but they always
are confronted with either batons or machine guns.

Please think on these questions and supply your answers and the reasons you
gave the answers you did. I'm really trying to get all these concepts
straight in my head (good luck!!), and there's a lot of information on all
of them and a lot to think about and digest. I find it all quite
interesting, really, and I think it's important that we discuss these
various economic systems and the pros and cons of each.

Thanks!

Kris
