environmentalist, anti-nuclear activist, feminist, founder of Physicians for
Social Responsiblity and host of KPFT's If You Love This Planet, Helen is a
force for peace whose voice will inspire us all.

Reconnect with old friends and learn about the important work of our local
Peacemaker awardees: Sylvia Gonzales, LULAC National VP; Richard Shaw, local
Secretary/Treasurer of the AFL-CIO; and the Texans Together Education Fund,
a community organizing group.
