Independent Texans has just released a statewide  online petition calling 
on State Comptroller Susan Combs to resign now.  In the midst of record  
drought and fires, the  legislature cut 911 services by $36 million.  That's 
just a little more than one of the 10  payments the Comptroller continues to 
push for Formula 1 racing owned by  billionaires.  _Read  more here and sign

On the Water Front:   The Texas Water  Development Board released the news 
that natural gas drillers have NO limits  on the drinking water they can use 
to "frack" for natural gas!  _Read  more here_

ing-water-you-want/) . Senate Bill 341 was NOT vetoed by the Governor, but 
it's not  all bad news--a vote will either dissolve BexarMet, or keep it 
WITH needed  reforms.  More news coming soon.


The Wall Street Journal says  Perry is running.  Texas independents need to 
tell our story.  We want to launch a web blog at "PerryPoop.com", for us to 
tell America's  independents why Perry is not presidential material.  If
