I read a lot of what Obama had done and said, etc. and I knew that he would
learn some of the ugly things this nation has been doing and who was really
calling the shots when he became president and I hoped he was smart enough
to see the light and have confidence in some of the antiwar, antipoverty,
proeducation etc. things he had done and said. He had seen the poor, he had
also seen a lot of the world that few of us have seen. I find it hard to
believe that the corporate powers or the military or the CIA preferred him
to McCain and Palin. They always place their bets on both candidates. My
response about the peace frauds was for Cindy and you do support her in that
I believe. Just keep on smirking. I will keep on working for peace and
fairness and a sustainable planet, as will you, but I don't think we will --
or should -- work the same way. I don't suggest using bullets, fyi. I
carefully considered all of my options and chose Obama. No one, not even
Cynthia and Nader would have been perfect, nor would the Socialists or
Communists. Lee

Who said anything about anyone on this list being a fraud, Lee? I never
mentioned the word fraud and neither did Ron. What I will tell ALL of you is
this. We tried to tell you guys that Barack Obama was NO progressive. We
tried to tell you he was vetted way before by the corporate powers that be
before THEY decided he would get the Democratic nomination. I’m sorry so
many people fell for his rhetoric and turned a deaf ear when he said Iraq
was the dumb war and Afghanistan was the good war. There is no excuse
whatsoever for people voting for him. There was another choice! We voted for
Cynthia McKinney who is a WOMAN OF COLOR. Cynthia always spoke truth to
power and never pulled any punches. So, if you feel like a fraud, Lee, then
that’s on you. You and everybody else had choices. Nader was running and so
was Cynthia. You could’ve written in the Socialist Equality Party
candidates, too. OBAMA WAS NOT THE ONLY CHOICE. 

By the way, what made you think Obama was the “champion of
peace/nonviolence/change”, Lee? He sat there and said Afghanistan was the
good war. When EVER is war a good thing, Lee?

You guys had selective hearing during the presidential campaign. You and
everybody else who voted for this so called Democratic progressive were
duped pure, plain and simple, and yes, we tried to tell all of you on this
list and you didn’t listen. This crap is not on us. It’s on you and
everybody else who thinks voting for a Democrat is going to change anything.
Let’s face it, Obama got the nomination and the nod by Global Corporate and
Zionists BECAUSE he is a person of color. They knew that the black community
would rally behind this biracial (black) candidate. They also know that most
of the black community and so called Democratic progressives will never
utter a single derisive word against “their” president.

This makes all of them complicit in whatever crimes this man and his
administration commit. Obama doesn’t get a free pass just because he’s black
and just because he’s a Democrat.

If Obama had turned out to be the champion of peace/nonviolence/change that
I hoped he would be,  I promise, that I would not have sent a catty note to
you with a smirk on my face, Ron and Kris, because I would realize that you
would be hurting because you would have been wrong. So enjoy our deep pain
-- and no one on this list is a fraud, sorry. You need to let the father of
Raven, aged 3, and her wee sister, who was 9-mo-old. He stood in line from 4
to 6PM in order to "let these children know they were present at this
momentus occasion", the speech of Barack Obama at the Toyota Center before
the election. He was one of thousands of people of color and us palefaces --
20000 of us in all that night. Obama was supposed to speak at 7P and arrived
at 8. I saw this black father with his lovely little girls around 7:30p
sitting in the wheelchair section entertaining them. Neither he nor anyone
on this list is a fraud. Sorry to disappoint you. Lee
