community with the intention of helping others begin to live more sustainable
lifestyles, saving ourselves money, protecting our environment, and reducing our
dependence on foreign oil/gas. It adds up to one really good step toward
stewardship of the Earth. Based on the successful World Café format, the Global
Warming Café is an active workshop to empower EVERYONE to become part of the
global warming solution. Participants will engage in powerful and heartfelt
conversations about Global Warming, and then will be guided to take personal
action to reduce their carbon footprint and, if they wish to go further, help
others do the same. Specifically, participants are introduced to
carbon-reduction tools and strategies to mobilize our community to reduce its
CO2 footprint 20% by 2010. </DIV>
