foster...He is a one year old <BR>> Jack Russell Terrier mix that has an
injured front leg. He was picked <BR>> up as a stray on 7/18. He
will need to be taken to the Southside <BR>> Animal Hospital for an X-ray to
see if there is anything that can be <BR>> done to "fix" the leg or if it
needs to be amputated. Then the foster <BR>> will need to work with
Friends of BARC to get the surgery (it will <BR>> most likely need to be
amputated) scheduled along with his neuter.<BR>> <BR>> Background
info: The dog has an old injury to one of his front legs <BR>>
that causes him to drag the paw when he walks. This causes the paw to
<BR>> be raw. He is licking the paw constantly because he is a
kennel with <BR>> nothing else better to do. : ( He might need to
wear one of those <BR>> collars for a week to let the infection go down, but
I am not sure. <BR>> He is a VERY sweet boy that just needs a
