Dear Bart,

Thank you for telling your Senators and Representative that you
will not buy the lie that drilling in the Arctic Refuge and off
our coastlines will produce lower gas prices at the pump.

Your message -- along with those from hundreds of thousands of
others -- will demonstrate to Congress that the American people
will not surrender our natural heritage to the oil giants
without a fight. President Bush's "Drill It All" energy policies
have gotten us into this mess. Congress will only get us out by
breaking our addiction to oil and setting us on a path to a
cleaner, more sustainable energy future.

I'll be sure to keep you posted in the weeks ahead as we fight
to stop each and every bill that would sacrifice the Arctic
Refuge and our seashores for the sake of oil company profits.
