references to a report by our officials that some Chinese leaders favor a

is clearly designed to embarrass the Chinese and our relationship with them.
The very pointed references to Arab leaders could have as their objective
undermining their political credibility at home, because this kind of public
identification of their hostility towards <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Iran</st1:place></st1:country-region> could actually play against
them at home…</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>

worry. It’s, rather, a question of whether WikiLeaks are being manipulated
by interested parties that want to either complicate our relationship with
other governments or want to undermine some governments, because some of these
items that are being emphasized and have surfaced are very pointed.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>

I wonder whether, in fact, there aren’t some operations internationally,
intelligence services, that are feeding stuff to WikiLeaks, because it is a
unique opportunity to embarrass us, to embarrass our position, but also to
undermine our relations with particular governments.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><font size=3 face=Georgia><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Georgia'>For
example, leaving aside the personal gossip about Sarkozy or Berlusconi or
Putin, the business about the Turks is clearly calculated in terms of its
potential impact on disrupting the American-Turkish relationship.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>

font-family:Georgia'>JUDY WOODRUFF: Just criticizing the people around… </span></font></b></strong><o:p></o:p></p>

have no doubt that WikiLeaks is getting a lot of the stuff from sort of
relatively unimportant sources, like the one that perhaps is identified on the
air. But it may be getting stuff at the same time from interested intelligence
parties who want to manipulate the process and achieve certain very specific
objectives.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><font size=3 face=Georgia><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Georgia'>It
should be noted that while ZB suspects foreign elements behind some of the
leaks, it could very well be internal <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">U.S.</st1:place></st1:country-region> elements unhappy with the
direction the President is taking things. Wikileaks may have both domestic and
foreign sources. There could very well be more than one playing this game.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>

into the Stone Age? Has no one noticed these Wikileaks cables don’t tell
anybody much of anything that he or she did not already know or suspect unless
he or she was living in a cave? Who is Wikileaks? Who is Julian Assange and
what is his angle? No one seems to know where he is. Assange is probably
hanging out in CIA headquarters in <st1><st1:City w:st="on">Langley</st1></st1:City>,
<st1><st1:State w:st="on">VA</st1></st1:State> or holed up in <st1><st1><st1:country-region
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Israel</st1></st1></st1:place></st1:country-region>
somewhere blowing Binyamin Netanyahu. Has no one noticed that a lot of these
cables give justification for bombing <st1><st1:country-region w:st="on">Iran</st1></st1:country-region>
because <st1><st1:country-region w:st="on">Saudi Arabia</st1></st1:country-region>
and some other unnamed Arab states supposedly feel threatened by <st1><st1><st1:country-region

Bullshit!!! <font color=red><span style='color:red'>A poll was taken in the
Middle East and 80% of Arab people feel <st1><st1:country-region w:st="on">ISRAEL</st1></st1:country-region>
is the #1 threat to the region followed by 77% thinking the <st1><st1><st1:country-region
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">U.S.</st1></st1></st1:place></st1:country-region>
is the second biggest threat. Only 10% of Arabs felt like <st1><st1><st1:country-region

was the major threat. That information was reported by Noam Chomsky on
Democracy NOW by the way. </span></font>The dictators in the various Arab

secret prisons and obvious to anyone with a brain, to shallow graves, this

military had orders to try to falsify documents showing that they found fully
operating nuclear, biological and chemical warfare facilities. These
would have made good reading along with the thousands of pages of reports about
how these stories would be fabricated. Even the “controlled

the Baathists, something far worse than the imaginary construct “Al

“experience” was the looting of oil resources. Most easily
verified is the theft of oil from the <st1><st1:City w:st="on">Kirkuk</st1></st1:City>
fields through the Kirkuk/Ceyhan pipeline, which goes to the Mediterranean
through <st1><st1><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Turkey</st1></st1></st1:place></st1:country-region>.
Ships that load oil are shown on locator sights run by insurance companies and
even the US Coast Guard. Their tonnage is available, how many ships, how
long. When doing the math, how much oil is loaded compared to how much is
paid for, billions and billions of dollars of oil is missing.<o></o><o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

Americans were paying $4 a gallon for gas, how many knew the oil that made the
gasoline was “free” to the oil companies? Who spit the take

are now informed, for no reason. The version the Army told is being debunked
along with the phony stories of the “embedded” press. Nothing

most stories about leaks are simply speculation and most “leaks”

However, the Taliban are Pashtun and don’t care much for <st1><st1><st1:country-region

they are “blood enemies.” Because of this, <st1><st1:country-region

every day, why is it that not one page, not one word of any of this, things we

received reports of Julian Assange fleeing Pentagon death squads. We are
told he has virtually disappeared off the face of the planet. We also
have a schedule of public appearances and interviews for Assange, who will
