Therefore I have concluded that our only vote in this matter (all matters) is
our money. We support this radio station with our money as well as our
government..........our only act of defiance is withholding the cash.......we
can protest all we want and they can "manage" the situation to their
advantage......any publicity is good publicity. And as long as they have
our money they have our consent............"don't take it personally......it's
only about the money"......with hold the money and they will be begging for it
unless they can get it from someone else........and in this case that may be the
quid pro quo that they made with the

Sure, they have this Program Council, but it's never been in charge
of putting shows on - to me it's more like a "help me vet these new
proposals" and "help me evaluate this or that" - all that stuff is a lot
of work. When we first envisioned the PC, it was the decided.
That was watered down ALOT by the time it became reality. They
don't decide, and neither does the board. <o:p></o:p></P>

they do do the Program Council dog and pony show before it can be approved

own fiefdom<BR>has got to stop, Bill. You will not attract any new
listeners or get any<BR>more money into the station if station management
isn't reigned in<BR>immediately and the various councils and the LSB don't
start doing their<BR>jobs. I am not going to give another dime of our
money to KPFT while I am<BR>concerned about the way business is conducted
at the station. In fact, if I<BR>find that station management is making
