<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr"><font size="4">Dear Chronicle Viewpoints;</font><div><font size="4"><br></font></div><div><font size="4">Am shocked, to say the least, that the Pentagon has submitted a plan to President Trump for the use of nuclear weapons in case of cyber attacks.</font></div><div><font size="4">Cyber attacks do not kill or maim anyone but a nuclear bomb retaliation could kill and maim millions and seriously damage the world's environment.</font></div><div><font size="4">It would be highly irresponsible for the U.S. to attack the people of another nation in response to a cyber attack.</font></div><div><font size="4">The first launch of nuclear weapons should never happen and a retaliatory strike should not be left to any one person to decide.  In my humble opinion, I suggest a group of five high ranking elected officials to make the decision with at least four affirmative votes.</font></div><div><font size="4"><br></font></div><div><font size="4">Jimmy Dunne,  1306 W. Brooklake, Houston  77077  <a href="tel:(281)%20584-9707" value="+12815849707" target="_blank">281.584.9707</a></font></div></div>
