Free Lecture, vegan reception and Book signing with author Rynn Berry

Join us for a free community event featuring author/historian Rynn Berry at Barnes & Noble (Westheimer Crossing) on Monday, October 1, 2007. Rynn will present a free lecture and be available to sign books after the event. The event starts at 6:30 pm with a vegan reception, followed by his lecture at 7:00 pm. This community event is sponsored by Society of P.E.A.C.E., Houston Animal Rights Team, Vegetarian Society of Houston and In Solidarity With Animals.

Rynn is historical advisor to the NAVS (North American Vegetarian Society) and is on the Advisory Board of Earth Save. In his lectures, articles & books, he has specialized in the study of vegetarianism from an historical perspective. A popular lecturer, in New York, where he lives, Rynn teaches a college course on the history of vegetarianism (the first of its kind in the nation).
