What if we brought this to Houston? Maybe Progressive Forum could get
involved, since they have some funds? And League of Women Voters? Or would
it make a difference? Lee L

Dreams and Nightmares: An Exhibit on Life and Death in Iraq
http://www.afsc.org/eyes/experience-ewo.htm

Dreams and Nightmares is a memorial to Iraqis who have lost their lives in
the war and occupation. With photographs, names and personal stories, it
conveys the unseen side of the war in Iraq — the tragedy being experienced
by everyday Iraqis. Careful estimates put Iraqi deaths at more than 100,000
— most of them civilians.

On line you can explore the exhibit in 360° virtual reality and hear a sound
clip from Raed Jarrar who spoke at the unveiling in Washington DC over
Mothers Day Weekend.

This weekend the exhibit will be displayed on Independence Mall to coincide
with the Fourth of July activities in Philadelphia. It will be adjacent to
the large annual Welcome America festivities and the newly added taste of
Philadelphia. We need volunteers.

Please contact me directly if your community would be interested in
displaying this powerful memorial.
