[PAA-Discuss] People's Business: The Democratic Response

Fellow Democrats and/or Progressives,

    You are invited to join Fort Bend Democrats for an exciting event on Friday, July 7th at 7:00 PM. This event is being hosted by the Fort Bend Democratic Club and is being co-sponsered by the Katy Area New Democratic Organization and the Bay Area New Democrats.

    Fort Bend County's Chamber of Commerce is hosting a "Tribute to Tom DeLay" fundraising reception at the Marriott Hotel in Sugarland. As Democrats, we are outraged that these people will be honoring and celebrating the corruption, cronyism, and right-wing extremism of Tom "The Hammer" DeLay. So, Fort Bend Democrats will come together for a Democratic Response to this madness. Mark Bankston has made arrangements with Beck's Prime in Sugarland and he indicated that they would be thrilled to have us. They will have an extra person on staff just for us. The menu can be seen at www.becksprime.com - You can get a burger and a beer for $10. They have a great variety of food: burgers, salads, chicken meals, baked potatoes, hot dogs, and a few vegetarian dishes, too.
