PDA’s in its ninth month of holding  _Brown Bag Lunch Vigils_ 
(http://pdamerica.org/articles/misc/2009-11-13-12-49-50-misc.php)  (BBLV)  in 
congressional districts across the country. Most of these  vigils happen right outside 
of the Congress member’s office, and a  citizen lobby visit—with the “ask” 
of the month—often follows the  vigil. These BBLVs have a distinct profile 
in Congress: Whether  they like it or not, we’re keeping our  
representatives (and some senators, too) on notice and accountable—and  we’re not going 
away.

alliance  with _Jobs with  Justice_ (http://www.jwj.org/)  (JwJ), merging our 
September  15 vigils with their actions. We’ve got the  potential to have a 
strong PDA presence at over 120 JwJ actions  and BBLVs.
