Event Description:
This will be an Open Space conversation café. All participants are invited to suggest topics for conversation at the beginning of the meeting. We will then each join the conversation of our choosing and change conversations as our interests and passions dictate!
It’s fun and enlightening. We’ll reconvene as a single group at the end to share our insights.
Topics so far:
- How can we best collaborate for global transformation?
- How can we utilize the upcoming Houston Social Forum on April 29&30, 2006?
- Is the World Social Forum movement something we in Houston can collaborate with to create the future that we want?
Special Guests:
- Planners of the upcoming Houston Social Forum, including Heather Smith and Jennifer Rooks, who participated in the World Social Forum held in Caracas Venezuela in January 2006.
- Jimmy Pryor, the convener of this Café, is also participating in the planning of the Houston Social Forum.
Free and open to all.
Snacks are welcome but not required.
