The next day (Feb. 21), activists with Rainforest Action Network plan to hold a day of action across the country to stop TXU. We'll be targeting the lead financial arrangers of dirty coal development - telling the banks "Stop Funding TXU’s Dirty Energy" and "No New Coal Plants". The target of the day will be Merrill Lynch. Twenty other financial organizations have already said they wouldn't touch the funding for TXU's dirty coal plants, now let's convince Merrill Lynch to do the same and push them to support clean, renewable energy.
