Event Description:

Please join KPFT 90.1, Veterans for Peace Chapter 12, and Iraq Veterans Against the War for the release of Aaron Glantz's latest book "The War Comes Home: Washington's Battle against America's Veterans".

Aaron Glantz, an independent journalist whose work has appeared in The Nation and on Democracy Now!, is also the author of How America Lost Iraq, and a Rosalynn Carter Mental Health Journalism Fellow at the Carter Center.
A survivor of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) covering the conflict in Iraq for three years, Mr. Glantz tells the personal stories behind the staggering statistics of PTSD and traumatic brain injury our veterans withstand, and the apathy and mistreatment they endure upon returning home.

Don't miss this opportunity to meet the author of the book Publishers Weekly calls "A breathtaking rebuke to government hypocrisy and an overdue contribution to gaining critical public awareness of this official neglect."

Donations of $10 benefits Veterans for Peace and KPFT 90.1 FM - Radio for Peace
Veterans from the US and Afghanistan conflicts receive FREE admission.

Copies of Glantz's new book will also be available for purchase.
