[PAA-Discuss] The "Weather Man" from Good Morning America years ago has a message for you about the weather

Kris,
I was not suggesting that it was just Alyssa lack of imagination…….I am
suggesting that we all lack sufficient imagination. That includes you and
me……..everybody. They…….the people who control have got their plan……..and I
believe it is to depopulate the planet to a manageable level (I have read
the 6 -10 million figure) and we don’t know how they are going to achieve
this goal but it is clear that this economic meltdown is part of the
plan……war is part of their plan…..chem trails is part of the plan…….I
believe that they have the ability to make changes in the weather……..and I
think we all agree that they control the media and the message and we only
have this internet and our own imagination to counterbalance. I very much
agree with you about the carbon thing in that what harm does it do to
personally cut down on the amount of carbon we add to the planet and I do
try to lessen this impact in every way I know how……again it is a lack of
imagination that prevents me from having a zero impact but I try as does
everyone on this list. And I think you must agree that what the media is
trying to project is that we are responsible for all of this and that Ric is
trying to point us to this conspiracy. I get by what he is saying is to
question everything. We have to keep asking ourselves who is pushing this
global warming? Could be that they want us all in such fear that we will
embrace fasism so that they will have to murder/terminate a certain amount
of people so that the earth will survive. After all they have murdered over
a million Iraqiis all innocent every single one of them……..even Saddam.
But, for these people (if you can call them people) that is way too costly
and they just can’t kill enough. Let’s face it…….they want us off their
property……….just like Ira said “ How does it feel to be owned?” implying
that they own it all and if you aren’t with them then you are against them
and they want us gone……..

Who are you talking about, Robert? Who exactly lacks sufficient imagination?
I didn’t read anything in Alyssa’s post that would suggest she doesn’t think
things will get worse. Please explain.
Kris

If you think things can't get worse it's probably only because you lack
sufficient imagination.

The last thing on this earth I ever want to be is a "dupe" of big
corporations. That's exactly the position anyone is placing him or herself
in by saying there is no such thing as global warming or climate change.
I'm a little astonished that someone who "gets it" with respect to the giant
behemoths of war doesn't get it with respect to the fossil fuel companies.
They're all the same thing!
This IS a war, this is a war about science. Science is on the side I'm on,
and against the side that the giant corporations are taking. Sure, there are
always a few paid-for "experts" who will lie their brains out if they get
enough money for it, just as there were on the topic of, say, lead. Or
mercury. Or tobacco. Or any number of other deadly toxins. They whored
themselves out, indeed. But the overwhelming majority of scientists know
exactly what is going on. And what is going on is catastrophic.
The earth is a closed system. That's something you always have to remember.
What goes up does indeed come down, and circulate, forever and ever.
If you travel to other countries, the people there think Americans are
pretty stupid when it comes to fossil fuels and climate change. Just like
when the U.S. persisted on making claims about Iraq that were not true, and
were seen as outrageous by people in places like Italy and France, Germany
or Taiwan, for that matter, climate change is viewed very differently in
Bali. Or Thailand. Or Canada. Why? Because the big fossil-fuel companies
don't lobby in those nations. Or spend money on ads making claims that are
false. People in those countries can see with their own eyes what is
happening, apart from corporate lies.
It's time to move past fossil fuels, it's time to move into a different base
for our economy and our energy. In doing so, we would empower people and
industries that don't harm our planet or our people. How is that so bad?
Hmm. Seems it's only bad for the big fat corporate pigs who have long been
making money at our expense...

Assuming we don't blow ourselves up, or contaminate ourselves.....or GMO
ourselves ....I'm going to live here on Earth Kris. There may be a
catastrophe but I am not worried it will come from CO2 and frankly, I think
there are many more important things to worry about..
Yes, I had a child, now he is a man, but I do worry for him and all our
children, as I am sure you do as well Kris.
